Role: Construction Superintendent

What to Expect
We are seeking a highly experienced and resultsdriven General Superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects in and around an active manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the project including safety scheduling quality control and cost management are executed efficiently and in compliance with industry regulations. The General Superintendent will lead field operations coordinate with project managers subcontractors and internal stakeholders and maintain a strong focus on minimizing disruption to ongoing manufacturing operations. Specific skill sets include but are not limited to: roofing concrete pavement excavation architectural finished basic electrical controls fire suppression fire alarm structural steel mechanical and plumbing systems.
What Youll Do
- Oversee and manage all phases of construction projects within and around an active manufacturing facility ensuring projects are completed safely on schedule within budget and according to quality standards
- Coordinate with construction managers engineers subcontractors and facility personnel to align construction activities with manufacturing operations and facilitate communication between all project stakeholders
- Develop and enforce work plans project schedules and sequencing to optimize efficiency reduce downtime and proactively resolve construction challenges clashes and conflicts
- Enforce and maintain strict safety protocols ensuring compliance with OSHA local building codes company safety policies and environmental regulations
- Conduct regular safety meetings job site inspections and audits to identify hazards and mitigate risks ensuring adherence to facilityspecific safety procedures
- Supervise and mentor superintendents foremen and field personnel providing clear direction leadership and guidance on best practices for work execution in a manufacturing environment
- Monitor work progress conduct quality inspections ensure adherence to project specifications and contract requirements and maintain accurate project documentation including daily reports change orders and progress updates
What Youll Bring
- Bachelors Degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
- 57 years supporting large industrial construction projects in Manufacturing Oil & Gas Chemicals Pharmaceuticals Data Centers or other hightech facilities
- Strong understanding and ability to interpret single line drawings panel schedules wiring diagrams P&IDs instrument hookup diagrams controls diagrams and control schedules
- Knowledge of Electrical systems particularly for experienced or seniorlevel candidates along with experience in civil and MEP scopes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and NFPA 70 certification is a plus
- Experience managing awarded scopes of work contracts schedules and budgets. Familiarity with drawings specifications and execution requirements for construction projects
