Job Description
JOB TITLE: SR Aircraft Technician
LOCATION: Savannah GA
PAY RATE: $36.04/hour
MUST BE US PERSONS

Job Details:

Contract Length: 12 months (with potential extension)

Summary:
-
Perform machine setup machining sheet metal fabrication extrusion tube bending and fabrication tasks
-
Conduct composite layup fabrication and assembly tasks
-
Assemble precision mechanical and electromechanical components
-
Assemble repair modify and install various power plants and drive trains
-
Solder electronic and avionics products
-
Assemble and install wire harnesses and avionics products
-
Prepare test articles fixtures and data collection devices for various tests
-
Perform basic organic chemical conversion paint preparation and apply coatings for corrosion protection and appearance
-
Work on articles of limited complexity following established drawings and requirements
Required Skills:
-
High school diploma or GED
-
1 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
-
Ability to understand and interpret detailed written and verbal work instructions
-
Manufacturing or assembler experience
-
Strong communication skills work ethic and urgency in completing tasks
Desired Skills:
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook
-
Fabrication experience
Additional Notes:
-
Variable shifts (1st 2nd or 3rd) depending on business needs
-
Successful completion and clearance of all screening requirements is required
-
3 weeks of training
-
Upcoming class start dates: as early as 3/3 (up to 9 participants) then every 2 weeks
-
Nonmanagerial nonleadership role
