Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon is fully responsible to provide highest standard of clinical care and expertise in assessment, investigation, diagnosis and treatment of patients in discipline of Consultant Orthopedic Surgery and related conditions. Physician should actively be involved in continuous quality improvement activities of the department and the hospital to achieve the goals of HMG.

Education/ Professional Qualification
Graduate of Medical School, recognized by the Medical Council of the country of origin.
Completion of appropriate internship and residency programs
Post-graduate qualifications in the specialty.
Experience
At least three (3) years of practice in his / her specialty after obtaining the higher degree in a Tertiary Care Hospital.
Subspecialty degree or structured subspecialty training preferred.
Professional Licensing / Certification / Training
Membership, Fellowship and/or Board Certification in respective specialty.
Relevant licensure from the country of origin, acceptable to Saudi Commission for Health Specialty and Ministry of Health.
Provide the Patient Medical reports and information as and when required by the Head of the department or Hospital Administrator/Medical Director of the Hospital.
Identify and bring all Medico-Legal Cases to the notice of the management on time in accordance with the hospital policy.
Participate in the provision of clinical / academic activities of the hospital.
Play an active role in the education of the patient and his/ her family on a healthy lifestyle. Contributes to awareness and education of the community, in general, on issues related to health.
Be regular and punctual in the duties assigned as per the schedule
Follow all hospital policies and procedures.
Obtain informed consent for all patients in accordance with hospital policy for the undertaking of any diagnostic procedure, operation, test or procedure.
Participate in, and lead person-centered care initiatives undertaken by HMG.
Provide orientation, bedside training and supervision to undergraduate and postgraduate trainees (interns, residents and fellows) as assigned.
Participate in self-and others’ education, training and development as applicable and department’s educational activities and training programs of the department.
Enrich patient experience with compassion, respect and dignity
Perform other applicable task and duties assigned within the realm of his/her knowledge, skills and abilities.
