The Role
Reporting to the Head of Design on Castore Mainline this role will be responsible for supporting the creation of the Castore mainline collection from concept to completion.
You will also work closely with & coordinate the relationship with the product development team and suppliers where necessary.
Responsibilities
To work closely with the Head of Design in defining & delivering the mainline collection.
Conduct research into products fabric colour knit print and trims
Compile seasonal moodboards research boards and reference materials in line with the seasonal briefs and relevant to the Castore brand.
Create manage and finalise tech packs for the collection
Work with the Head of Design to prepare all aspects of the design process for key design milestones meetings and reviews.
Research and find new sustainable fabrics and production methods to improve sustainability
Skills & Qualities
BA in Fashion Sportswear or Textiles.
Proven design experience within the sportswear apparel industry. A combination of premium brand experience combined with performance sportswear / activewear experience a plus.
Ability to multitask and work effectively on several projects simultaneously
An excellent work ethic integrity and reliability with a Hands on attitude
Great time management skills
Proficient in Adobe Photoshop Illustrator & Microsoft Office
A working knowledge of 3D and computational tools a plus
Interest in sports and/or fitness
