Work hours: 8:00 am 5:00 pm UK Time Zone
Compensation range: US$1000 US$1500/month

About the role
The Data Analyst will support the Head of Sales Enablement by addressing product data gaps and developing Excel models to analyze products across various business areas. After establishing processes and models the role will involve extracting data from Shopify and public databases leveraging advanced Excel formulas and macros to maintain and update analyses.
Responsibilities:
- Extract cleanse structure classify and analyse product commercial and public data to identify gaps and commercial opportunities.
- Design refine and maintain an Excelbased product analysis model.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track findings.
- Perform data entry and identify automated or efficient workarounds to minimize manual effort.
- Audit website data against other data sources and propose solutions for resolving discrepancies.
- Build systems and processes to classify products systematically.
- Communicate findings and actionable recommendations to the Head of Sales Enablement and relevant stakeholders via dashboards and reports.
- Serve as an inhouse subject matter expert on certain products.
- Document assumptions limitations and insights from analyses and discussions.
- Perform datahygiene on pulled data from various sources
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a data analyst role or a comparable position such as a financial analyst.
- Proficiency in developing advanced Excel models; expertise in Google Sheets is preferred but not required.
- Industry experience in food or supplements is strongly preferred; experience in cosmetics pharma or tech hardware is a plus.
- Familiarity with Shopify is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Experience using a product classification system for customs or tax purposes is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership.
- Ability to work with large datasets ideally in a retail or eCommerce context.
- Interest in productrelated data analysis with a willingness to learn regulations in food supplements cosmetics and technology.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Comfortable asking questions seeking clarification and addressing uncertainties proactively.
- Enjoying data hygiene and some monotonous tasks from time to time.
- Thrive in a fastpaced startup environment with adaptability to evolving challenges.
