Job Description
Position: Nurse Supervisor (Nursing)
Location: Rochester NY 14626
Pay Rate: $70.00 $72.00/hr
Duration: 13 weeks contract
Shift: Rotating; D/E/N with EOW shifts may be 8a4p 4p12a and 12a8.
Guarantee Hours: 40
Job Summary:
The Nurse Supervisor will oversee nursing staff ensuring the delivery of highquality patient care. This role requires leadership in supervising staff patient care management and ensuring compliance with healthcare standards during rotating shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate nursing staff to ensure efficient patient care.
- Monitor patient care delivery ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to nursing staff promoting professional development.
- Assist in staffing scheduling and performance evaluations of nurses.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and accreditation standards.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
- Handle patient concerns and ensure quality assurance in nursing services.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: ASN/BSN or equivalent (BSN preferred).
- License: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State.
- Experience: Minimum 2 3 years of nursing experience. Previous nursing supervision experience (Preferred).
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) required; ACLS preferred.
- Skills: Strong leadership communication and problemsolving abilities.
