Job Description
Purpose
Responsible for maximizing brand initiatives by partnering with BTLs as a trusted advisor providing expert decision support and proactively identifying opportunities to consistently deliver on business objectives.
Financial responsibility includes affiliate pricing strategy across all brands in conjunction with Market Access acting as a key conduit/hub for all business financial matters while encompassing an outwardfacing role. Works constructively with the area to deliver efficient reporting to support strategic decisionmaking.
Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for affiliate financial planning submissions of Plan Updates and LRP.
- Responsible for the management review oversight and approval of all affiliate monthly management reporting requirements.
- Support the FD and wider ALT to maximize affiliate P&L and implement strategic business decisions as a key participant across all business units.
- Serve as the main liaison for the affiliate with the Area/HQ finance team.
- Lead the Affiliate Strategic Pricing Process in partnership with the Market Access team working across all brands and pricing strategies including contracting IPHA negotiations and strategies for generics and biosimilars. Act as the affiliate ePricing controller.
- Provide expert strategic decisionmaking support in Brand Teams offering suggestions and challenging all brandrelated activities.
- Coordinate implementation and adoption of new systems that are key to affiliate performance evaluation: ABPM VIONE Platform VGSAM v2 etc.
- Direct responsibility for all Immunology Brand Finance operations working with both local and Area Brand teams.
- Lead reporting activities for the Immunology Brand especially through indepth modeling of the 12 Humira indications maintaining global models etc.
- Manage Brand P&Ls generating an overview of budget and spending while educating Brand Teams on P&L and encouraging ownership.
Qualifications :
- Financial expertise: statutory experience accounting
- Knowledge of the market and full range of customer and stakeholder needs
- Understanding of the local healthcare environment and evolving landscape
- Functional skills: project management time management Excel skills and data handling
- Expertise in modeling (scenario planning)
- Expert interpretation of data and information
- Familiarity with the pharmaceutical industry business policies and procedures
- Skills: communication influence and negotiation leadership business acumen strategic and innovative thinking
