Qualifications :
Essential
- BEng or BSc in an engineering discipline
- Chartered Membership of a relevant Professional Institute
- Strong background in the design and manufacture of HTS magnets
- Deep understanding of cryogenics
- Ability to use a range of magnet engineering analysis tools
- Leadership of multidisciplinary teams
- Experienced in the preparation of specifications for tender
- Internationally recognised leader in the development and realisation of HTS magnets
- Extensive track record of delivering complex high technology projects to quality time and budget
- Excellent collaboration skills
- Demonstrable commitment to working in compliance with modern Safety Health Environment and Quality Assurance standards
Desirable:
- Experience of tokamak magnet design
- Understanding of modern project management tools and a willingness to adopt organisational approaches to project management
