Construction Supervisor

Targeted Annual Pay Range: Minimum of $100000.00 to a maximum of $115000.00

POSITION PURPOSE: Support the delivery of ESCO construction projects for the Sacramento office.

PRIMARY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Execute the project plan as laid out by the Project Manager ensure compliance with the schedule plans and specifications
2. Work with the Project Manager to ensure customer satisfaction
3. Act as onsite project lead communicate and coordinate all installation efforts with customer / building tenants
4. Supervise and coordinate all construction activities including material requests and acceptance
5. Develop and maintain a Quality Control Plan to ensure quality of installation and cleanliness of work areas prior to customer occupation. 
6. Develop and maintain daily and weekly look ahead schedules to ensure adherence to the project schedule 
7. Create site specific plans and procedures; ensures the implementation of Veolias Safety Program to create a safe work environment throughout the jobsite; adhere to the safety and record keeping requirements; integrate Safety Program in all site specific plans and procedures to ensure a safe work environment; adhere to all safety and record keeping requirements 
8. Obtain necessary information from engineers designers inspectors governmental authorities and owners
9. Advise Project Manager of potential problems work interferences or schedule difficulties while assisting in circumventing/resolving such conflicts; anticipate and resolve project issues and schedule difficulties
10. Maintain the projects Daily Report log and conduct routine inspections to verify production.
11. Maintain accurate and up to date drawings and project records
12. Other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Must be able to stay/walk for extended hours on construction sites climb ladders and enter confined spaces as required to observe and supervise the work done by others.

Qualifications :

Education / Experience / Background

• At least 3 years of construction supervision experience
• Proven track record of executing engineering projects managing construction or similar work
• Experience supervising large crews; ability to manage others

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

• Indepth knowledge of the construction industry specifically building codes construction materials methods and procedures
• Able to read and understand construction drawings and specifications 
• Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Excel Word and Outlook. Ability to learn new software. 
• Can visualize and create the project schedules critical path 
• Ability to schedule monitor and forecast resources for optimum efficiency 
• Understands when to seek out professional advice 
• Able to adapt solutions to changing field conditions and constraints
• Must be willing to travel to remote project locations (in state) and stay onsite for extended periods of time (14 Weeks)

Required Certification / Licenses / Training

• Must possess a valid California Drivers License.
