Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

To play a pivotal role in identifying, developing, and managing strategic partnerships with corporations, research institutions, and government entities

Key Result Areas:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business partnership strategy aligned with the organization’s overall goals.
  • Identify and research potential partners across various industries and sectors relevant to science and technology.
  • Develop and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers at potential partner organizations.
  • Lead negotiations and structure partnership agreements that are mutually beneficial for the organization and its partners.
  • Manage existing partnerships, ensuring open communication and successful collaboration.
  • Facilitate collaborative projects and initiatives between the organization and its partners.
  • Track and measure the success of partnerships in achieving the organization’s strategic objectives.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and identify new partnership opportunities aligned with the organization’s focus areas.
  • Represent the organization at industry events and conferences, building relationships and promoting partnership opportunities.
  • Identify and evaluate potential partners that align with the organization’s strategic goals.
  • Negotiate and formalize partnership agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the technology and innovation sectors.
  • Monitor and report on the progress and impact of partnerships, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Communicate partnership goals, progress, and achievements effectively to all relevant parties.
  • Contribute to the successful planning, execution, and completion of cross-functional projects as assigned by QSTP senior management by actively engaging with team members across departments, ensuring effective communication, coordination, and resource management. Apply innovative problem-solving methods to address challenges, continuously improving project processes while ensuring compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and quality standards. Maintain regular communication with both line and project managers to provide timely updates on project progress and outcomes and continuously enhance personal skills and knowledge to drive the success of these initiatives.
  • Other reasonable tasks as assigned by supervisor

Desired candidate profile


Minimum Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or a related field & 6-8 years of relevant full-time work experience, 2 of which at a supervisory level.
PMP certification is an advantage.
Good knowledge and abilities to handle difficult situation and conversations.
Excellent communication skills - experience explaining complicated issues to people and pursue them to collaborate.
Ability to switch fast between tasks and projects, if necessary, self-organization skills
Ability to operate at a very high level; negotiate effectively; work to deadlines; maintain strong stakeholders’ relationship.
Excellent writing skills with the ability to draft and edit a variety of written reports and communications and to articulate ideas clearly and concisely; Arabic and English proficiency is required.
Proficiency in MS Office applications
