OX2s Italian team is expanding rapidly together with the pipeline and we are now looking for two Development Project Managers to join our journey. One role will be more senior suitable for someone with extensive project management experience in renewable energy while the other will fit a candidate with a solid foundation and potential for growth. You will play a critical role in driving renewable energy projects from initial concept to ReadytoBuild (RTB) ensuring delivery on time within budget and to the highest standards.
About the job
We are seeking two skilled and driven Project Managers to lead the development of renewable energy projects (wind onshore photovoltaic BESS). You will manage a portfolio of greenfield and partially developed projects ensuring they are delivered on time within budget and to the highest standards. As Project Managers you will lead crossfunctional project teams manage key stakeholders and navigate complex development landscapes.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain project budgets and timelines whileleading and optimizing project strategies.
- Lead multidisciplinary project teams including internal staff and external consultants.
- Secure permits land agreements and grid connections while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
- Manage risks resolve issues proactively and ensure project constructability and market competitiveness.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with municipalities authorities landowners and other stakeholders.
- Conduct due diligence assessments for project acquisitions and stay informed about industry trends.
Your qualifications and experience:
We are looking for driven and passionate professionals who want to shape the future of renewable energy.
Experience & Expertise
You have a strong background in project management within the renewable energy sector particularly in wind and solar PV projects. For the senior role you bring at least 7 years of experience managing complex largescale renewable projects. For the second role you have 35 years of relevant project development experience and show clear potential for growth.
You excel at leading teams managing stakeholders and driving projects to completion while balancing budgets and timelines. Your track record demonstrates success in navigating complex regulatory landscapes and securing key permits land agreements and grid connections.
You demonstrate a proactive approach to building longterm relationships complemented by strong communication skills.
Education & Technical Skills:
- Bachelors degree in engineering environmental science law or a related field.
- Fluency in Italian and English is essential.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite is expected.
