About the Company:
Our client a leading manufacturing company based in Northern Ireland is seeking a skilled CNC Milling and Turning Operator to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with precision engineering in a dynamic and fastpaced environment producing highquality components for various industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and set up CNC milling and turning machines to manufacture precision components.
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure products meet required tolerances and quality standards.
- Perform tool changes offsets and adjustments to optimize machining processes.
- Conduct quality checks using measuring instruments such as micrometers calipers and gauges.
- Maintain and troubleshoot machinery to prevent downtime and ensure smooth production.
- Work closely with the production team to meet deadlines and efficiency targets.
- Follow health & safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Essential Criteria:
- Previous experience in CNC milling and turning operations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong understanding of machining processes tooling and materials.
- Experience working with Fanuc Heidenhain or Siemens controls (preferred but not essential).
- Strong attention to detail and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with CAD/CAM software.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices.
- Understanding of CNC programming (Gcode).
