About the role:
You are an essential part of the International Finance Team based in Vienna and work with colleagues globally. Your primary focus is to ensure highquality financial planning and monitoring. And further automatize our financial processes and systems. A crucial role to ensure Light for the World remains in a healthy financial position and takes appropriate steering measures.
Tasks
- You take the lead in further developing organizationwide financial processes in alignment with other teams (including People & Culture Accounting and Project Controlling) to improve efficiency
- You oversee cost center responsibilities in different countries manage quarterly financial planning and monitoring and conduct relevant training
- You prepare and manage staff planning and reporting to generate actionable insights for informed decisionmaking
- You further develop templates and reports in our financial planning and monitoring system to ensure automatized and targeted reporting
- You conduct the monthly reporting for your respective department and ensure data accuracy throughout the process.
- You conduct capacitystrengthening activities through training and 1on1 sessions with respective colleagues.
- You further develop our planning and monitoring system and support strategic projects such as the implementation of a fully integrated system landscape
- You will collaborate with an amazing group of colleagues other teams departments and our country offices in the South
Requirements
- You hold a diploma in financial management controlling or a related field and bring a min. of 2 years of professional experience in these areas
- You bring a strong analytical mindset to perform data analysis and a strong ability to graphically present data and financial figures
- Experience in working with accounting databases (e.g. BMD) or planning/reporting software (e.g. Solver and/ or Power BI) is a nice to have but not absolutely required
- Your excellent English skills will support you working in an international environment (German is of great advantage)
- You are proactive solutionoriented and eager to grow and make things work. Your intercultural communication skills and your motivation round up your profile
