The Business Development Director will play a crucial role in managing and executing the company s sales and marketing strategy in France. This position requires an individual with strong connections in the local retail sector and the ability to build longterm profitable relationships. Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the company s products are widely available wellpositioned and highly visible in the marketplace while driving sustainable and profitable revenue growth.
- Develop and implement sales plans aligned with the annual business strategy to increase market share sales volume and profitability.
- Translate the companys global goals into actionable localized strategies tailored to the French retail landscape.
- Oversee business operations in France analyzing performance identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key retailers clients and business partners to maximize sales opportunities.
- Plan and manage short medium and longterm investments for the French market ensuring expected ROI is achieved.
- Provide regular reports and insights to the company s headquarters on market performance challenges and opportunities.

- A proven track record in a pioneering independent role capable of establishing new business operations.
- Strong connections with key retailers in France with a deep understanding of the local FMCG market.
- Minimum 12 years of experience in the FMCG industry including at least 5 years in a management role.
- Fluent in English (both spoken and written); knowledge of French is a plus.
- Strong ability to identify business opportunities and drive market penetration strategies.
- A strategic thinker with excellent problemsolving skills and foresight into potential challenges.
- Deep knowledge of regulatory requirements business planning and performance analysis in France.
