Are you a passionate and dedicated teacher looking for an exciting opportunity in Key Stage 2 We are seeking an enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher to join our welcoming school in Merton starting in April 2025. Your Role as a Year 5 Teacher
As our new Year 5 Teacher you will:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons that build on core skills and prepare students for Year 6.
Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment where all children feel confident to participate.
Develop strong literacy and numeracy skills helping pupils deepen their understanding and apply their learning in meaningful ways.
Monitor and assess student progress using data to provide targeted support and challenge.
Foster a growth mindset and encourage students to take responsibility for their learning.
Work collaboratively with the KS2 team to enhance teaching and learning across the year group.
Build strong relationships with parents carers and colleagues to support each childs academic and personal development.
What Were Looking For
A qualified teacher with QTS (or equivalent).
Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 ideally in a Year 5 setting.
A strong understanding of the upper KS2 curriculum and strategies to support progression.
A creative and engaging teaching style that excites and motivates learners.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills with a willingness to collaborate.
A commitment to creating an inclusive and highachieving learning environment.
