About the Maths Teacher Role:
We are seeking an exceptional Maths Teacher to join our dedicated Maths department. The successful Maths Teacher will have the opportunity to teach Maths across Key Stages 3 and 4 inspiring students with engaging lessons and a passion for the subject.
What youll do as a Maths Teacher:
- Deliver engaging and innovative Maths lessons that cater to a range of learning styles and abilities.
- Create a stimulating and supportive learning environment where students feel confident to explore mathematical concepts and develop their problemsolving skills.
- Teach a variety of mathematical concepts and techniques ensuring students gain a solid foundation in Maths.
- Use a variety of teaching methods and resources including technology to make Maths fun and accessible for all students.
- Assess and monitor student progress in Maths providing constructive feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential.
- Contribute to the development of the Maths curriculum and departmental resources ensuring our teaching remains current and engaging.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and ensure the highest standards of Maths teaching.
What youll need to be a successful Maths Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in Maths or a related field.
- Experience teaching Maths at the secondary level.
- A strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for Maths.
- Excellent communication interpersonal and classroom management skills.
- A passion for Maths and a commitment to inspiring students.
