We are now looking for our next colleague a driven and proactiveRecordtoReport (R2R)andGeneral Accounting (GA)to join theGroup Accounting Operations & Shared Services CentreTeampart of Polestar Global Finance.

The Opportunity
As aProcess DeveloperinR2R and GA youll play a key role in shaping the future ofGroup Accounting Operationsand ourShared Services Centre. Your mission To drive globally standardized processes enhance Shared Service Centers operating procedures and develop cuttingedge strategies that futureproof our finance and accounting operations.
In this role youll work across a variety of R2R and GA subprocesses ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of reports that empower business leaders with critical insights. Youll collaborate closely with theGlobal Process Owner for R2Rand ourShared Service Centersto refine and optimize accounting processes.

The Responsibilities
Excellence in Delivery: Cost Quality & Control.
Shape the Future of Global Finance:
- Drive innovation and standardization inRecordtoReport (R2R) & General Accounting (GA)processes within Shared Services Centers.
- Continuously refine and enhance accounting operations for efficiency and scalability.
Own the Process & Elevate Performance
- Oversee documentation and process improvements for seamless workflows.
- Support business teams with R2R & GArelated tasks ensuring compliance and efficiency.
- Develop and enhance process flow documentation to drive operational clarity.
Collaborate & Deliver Impact
- Partner withRegions (Business/CFO/CAO) Finance Peers and GAOS Partners (GAD)to ensure toptier service delivery.
- Codrivejoint operating rhythmstracking KPIs budgets SLAs and customer satisfaction.
Optimize & Standardize for Excellence
- Work closely withGlobal Process Owners (GPOs)to streamline work processes and align with industry benchmarks.
- Establish robust systems to ensure policy and process adherence.
Focus on Execution & LongTerm Vision
- Deliver measurable results today while paving the way for sustainable bestinclass financial operations.
Streamlining for Growth & Efficiency
- Standardize & Optimize Establish a structured approach for deploying operational processes with clearly defined owners responsibilities and measurable KPIs. This will support the setup of Polestars business units Finance HQ functions and Shared Services Center partnerships.
- Drive Digital Transformation Collaborate with Polestar business units and Polestar Digital Finance to enhance system capabilities and automate R2R and GA processes for greater efficiency and scalability.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for an openminded and proactive team player who has great communication skills to be able to connect and collaborate with different functions and stakeholders. In addition you should have a strong analytical and problemsolving skills and be comfortable taking and driving your own initiatives.
At Polestar you will be part of a crossfunctional and international team with English as a natural language for written and spoken communication. Since Polestars in a scaleup phase you thrive by working in a fastpaced environment.
To be a great fit for this position we believe you have:
- Bachelors degreein Finance Business Administration or a related field.
- Preferred experiencein Continuous Process Improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma Lean or Agile along with expertise in flowchart mapping.
- 710 years of relevant experiencein RecordtoReport (R2R) and General Accounting (GA) gained through external audit accounting or project management.
- Proficiency in ERP systems particularly finance modules.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS accounting principles.
- Experience in process development and/or project managementis a plus.
- Working knowledge of financial compliance including taxation VAT and the key differences between local GAAP and IFRS.
