The Assistant Manager Social Media will be responsible for developing implementing and overseeing comprehensive social media strategies for both Anantara Bophut and Anantara Rasananda. Based in Samui and Koh Phangan this role requires a dynamic creative and detailoriented professional capable of managing multiproperty campaigns that reflect the luxury and cultural authenticity of the Anantara brand as well as Guilty a restaurant concept in Anantara Bophut.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and execute innovative social media strategies tailored to each property / outlet ensuring alignment with overall brand objectives.
- Coordinate multiproperty campaigns that maintain a consistent yet locally nuanced brand voice.
- Content Creation & Management:
- Oversee the creation scheduling and publishing of engaging multimedia content across platforms (e.g. Facebook Instagram LinkedIn).
- Collaborate with inhouse creative teams and produce highquality visually compelling content.
- Performance Analysis:
- Utilize analytics tools to monitor campaign performance track key metrics and adjust strategies based on data insights.
- Prepare regular performance reports and present findings with actionable recommendations.
- Community Engagement:
- Foster and maintain active engagement with online communities influencers and potential partners.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries and feedback on social platforms.
- Collaboration & Coordination:
- Work closely with crossfunctional teams including marketing PR guest services and operations to ensure integrated communication strategies.
- Manage relationships ensuring clear communication of goals and consistent delivery of services.
- Crisis & Reputation Management:
- Monitor social media channels for potential issues proactively manage any crisis situations and ensure swift resolution to protect brand integrity.
- Industry Trends:
- Stay uptodate with emerging social media trends digital marketing innovations and competitor activities to keep the properties ahead of market shifts.
Qualifications :
- Educational Background:
- Bachelors Degree in Marketing Communications Public Relations or a related field.
- Experience:
- 35 years of proven experience in social media marketing within the hospitality industry.
- Demonstrated experience in managing social media initiatives for multiproperty clusters is highly desirable.
- Experience in directing and collaborating with media agencies is beneficial.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written command of English.
- Creativity & Design: Strong creative acumen with a solid understanding of design principles to create visually appealing content.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with social media management and analytics tools as well as basic graphic design or video editing skills.
- Teamwork & Adaptability: A proactive team player with the ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
- Analytical & Organizational: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail and time management skills.
