We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to help individuals enhance their daily living skills and achieve greater independence. This role provides the opportunity to deliver therapy in educational clinical or community settings working alongside multidisciplinary teams to support client growth and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough evaluations to assess motor sensory and functional abilities.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to address individual needs.
  • Provide targeted therapy sessions to improve motor skills sensory integration and daily living abilities.
  • Collaborate with families educators and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to therapy.
  • Maintain detailed records of assessments treatment plans and progress to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Offer guidance on adaptive tools and strategies to foster independence.
  • Participate in IEP meetings to contribute to collaborative goalsetting.
  • Stay current with emerging trends and best practices through ongoing professional development.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will hold a Master s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution and possess a valid Illinois state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist. Experience working with K12 students in a school setting is highly preferred. The candidate should have a strong understanding of child development educational assessments and schoolbased therapeutic interventions. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential as this role requires working closely with students teachers families and multidisciplinary teams to support student success.
