Job Description
Overview:
This dynamic law firm is seeking an experienced Life Sciences Patent Associate from a top U.S. law firm with a superb life sciences and computer science background.
Professional Growth:
You will have the opportunity to collaborate with multiple partners across various offices and work on patent matters other than just Prep & Pros. Firm provides a high level of mentorship and training within a collegial environment. Multiple locations are available
Responsibilities:
- Respond to U.S. office actions with the USPTO
- Conduct prior art and freedomtooperate searches for patentability and freedomtooperate analysis litigation support IPRs.
- Draft highquality U.S. patent applications
- Be an integral member of the team and invest in attorneys with both mentorship and professional growth
Qualifications:
- Ideal candidates will have a Biology Chemistry or Biochemistry related PhD
- Candidate will also have a Computer Science degree.
- Must be eligible for USPTO admissions
- Superior academic credentials required
- Outstanding writing ability is required
- 3 years of top law firm patent prosecution experience in a broad range of life sciences applications.
The anticipated base salary range is $per year. Actual salary will depend on several factors including but not limited to qualifications jobrelated skills and relevant experience.
