Job Title: Lead Data Engineer

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled data professional to develop endtoend solutions including data ingestion aggregation report development and delivery across the organization. The ideal candidate should be selfdriven capable of working independently and ready to contribute from day one. Strong communication skills are essential for collaborating with various stakeholders and providing guidance or coaching to team members as needed.
This team is currently undergoing a longterm migration from a legacy MSSQL database to a cloudbased Azure environment. The candidate should be comfortable working in both environments.
MustHave Skills:
- SQL Expertise Processing raw data Kafka ingestions ADF pipelines data validation and quality assurance.
- API Integration Experience in collecting or ingesting data via APIs.
- Programming Skills Proficiency in Scala and/or Python.
- Databricks Handson experience in data processing and analytics.
- Azure Data Factory Working knowledge of data pipelines and workflows.
- ETL Tools Experience with Datastage (preferred) Informatica or similar tools.
- BI Tools Familiarity with Cognos ThoughtSpot Tableau or similar platforms (expertise not required but experience is necessary).
