ARHS Group part of Accenture is looking for a Project Management Officer for one of its clients at the EU Institutions in Brussels.
Role & responsibilities
- Providing project management support ongoing projects.
- Managing at an enterprise level the methodologies standards overall risk/opportunities metrics and independence among projects.
- Ensuring that the projects are completed successfully.
- Managing the implementation of information systems to meet identified business needs acquiring and using the necessary resources and skills within agreed parameters of cost timescales and quality.
- Giving proposals for project strategies planning definition of tasks and deliverables review of project deliverables quality control risk analysis and management status reports problem reporting and management systems follow up and organization.
- Guiding the team in charge of project activities and reviewing their deliverables.
- Participating in functional working groups and progress meetings.
- Estimating costs timescales and resource requirements for the successful completion of each project to agreed terms of reference.
- Preparing and maintaining project and quality plans and tracks activities against the plan providing regular and accurate reports.
- Monitoring costs timescales and resources used. Taking action where these deviate from agreed tolerances. Ensuring that delivered systems are implemented within these criteria.
- Managing the change control procedure gaining agreement for revisions to the project from project sponsors. Providing effective leadership for the project team ensuring that team members are motivated and constantly developing their skills and experience.
- Interaction with the business analysts customer users project leaders and the developers
Qualifications :
Your profile
- Bachelors degree or equivalent by experience
- Capability of integration in an international/multicultural environment on multiple large projects
- Rapid selfstarting capability and excellent team player
- Ability to participate in multilingual meetings
- High degree of discretion and integrity is required as the applications managed and maintained contain personal and confidential data
- Ability to give presentations.
- Ability to apply high quality standards to all tasks.

- Very good communication skills with technical and nontechnical audiences

Technical skills
- Good knowledge of project management standards and methodologies (Project Scheduling Strategic Planning Financial Modelling Budgeting Forecasting Performance Tracking).
- Good knowledge of Agile methodology Scrum Management Lean agile.
- Knowledge of Meeting Facilitation.
- Good technical knowledge on project aspects.
- Practical knowledge of reporting methods.
- Good knowledge of project management tools e.g. MS Project Microsoft Excel.
- Experience in Project Management Office (PMO) tasks would be an asset.
- Capable of writing clear and structured technical documents.
- Ability to participate in technical meetings and good communication skills.
Certificates
Any of the following certificates and standards would be considered an asset:
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- PRINCE2 Foundation
- Certified in PM2
