Job Description

A caring and inclusive primary school in Ealing is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team immediately on a fulltime basis until July. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a school that is committed to supporting students with special educational needs and providing them with the tools they need to succeed.

The Role:

  • Offering 1:1 and small group support for students with special educational needs ensuring their engagement and progress.
  • Collaborating with the class teacher and SENCO to implement individual learning plans and provide tailored interventions.
  • Assisting with social emotional and behavioral needs helping students develop confidence and resilience.
  • Creating a positive supportive learning environment that encourages inclusion and active participation for all students.
  • Monitoring student progress providing feedback and working closely with staff to adjust support where needed.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience supporting children with special educational needs is desirable.
  • A solid understanding of SEN strategies and approaches with the ability to implement them effectively in the classroom.
  • Strong communication and relationshipbuilding skills with both students and staff.
  • Patient empathetic and adaptable with a genuine passion for supporting childrens individual learning needs.
  • Proactive and enthusiastic with a desire to make a positive impact in the classroom.
