Your Role as a Food Technology Teacher:
Deliver Engaging Food Tech Lessons Teach practical and theoretical aspects of food technology to secondary school students.
Encourage Healthy Eating Foster an appreciation for nutrition healthy eating and sustainability in food choices.
Monitor Progress & Provide Feedback Provide continuous feedback to help students develop their skills and knowledge in food technology.
Promote Life Skills Help students develop skills they can use in everyday life such as meal planning cooking and budgeting.
Who Were Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching food technology in a secondary school or independent school setting.
Passionate About Food Technology A genuine passion for the subject with the ability to inspire and engage students.
Creative & Practical A handson approach to teaching that encourages students to experiment and learn by doing.
Strong Organizational Skills Ability to manage resources plan lessons and maintain a positive classroom environment.
Empathetic & Supportive A caring patient teacher who is dedicated to the academic and personal growth of students.
Strong Communication Skills Ability to work closely with staff students and parents to ensure progress.
An Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one).
