Overview:The Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) will be responsible for designing implementing and maintaining complex data systems using cloudnative principles to support millions of customers. The role requires expertise in cloud infrastructure CI/CD pipelines Kubernetes deployments AWS services and automation to enhance operational excellence and system performance.
Position:SRE (Site Reliability Engineer) (Full Time Role)
Responsibilities:- Design and maintain highly available secure and scalable cloudnative database systems.
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
- Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters using Helm Kustomize and related tools.
- Implement infrastructure changes and optimizations in AWS.
- Participate in oncall rotations for production and preproduction systems.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and document learnings to prevent future incidents.
- Contribute to system upgrades deployment automation and monitoring improvements.
- Develop operational playbooks and documentation.
- Engage in failure mode analysis (FMEA) chaos testing and security remediations.
- Automate manual processes to enhance system reliability and developer productivity.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- 4 years of experience in infrastructure development and maintenance in AWS.
- Strong performance monitoring troubleshooting and tuning experience.
- Handson experience with AWS services and cloud hosting.
- Proficiency in scripting languages for DevOps automation.
- Experience with at least one programming language: Java Python or Ruby.
- Expertise in Docker Kubernetes and ArgoCD.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk Wavefront AppDynamics Prometheus and tracing technologies.
Seeking an experienced SRE with strong AWS Kubernetes and DevOps automation expertise to support and enhance cloudnative systems at scale.
