Job Description

Overview:

We are seeking a Director of Business Development with a strong background in broadband utilities telecom CATV and fiber networks to drive strategic growth and expand market presence in the U.S. This role focuses on securing new business building relationships with key decisionmakers and identifying opportunities in broadband network planning and design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a business development strategy to drive revenue growth in the broadband utilities sector.
  • Identify and engage with MSOs telecom providers network construction companies and other key industry players.
  • Build and maintain strong CXOlevel relationships to secure new projects and partnerships.
  • Lead sales efforts technical presentations and contract negotiations to close deals.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to refine market strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • 15 years of experience in business development sales or account management within the broadband telecom or CATV sector.
  • Strong network of industry contacts and decisionmakers within the U.S. broadband utilities market.
  • Proven track record of winning new business and exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience working with network construction companies permit drafting firms or broadband infrastructure providers is a plus.
  • Excellent negotiation communication and presentation skills.
  • Bachelors degree in engineering or a related field preferred.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.
