Job Description

Are you a servicefocused sales person thats looking for your next challenge Does creating new sales opportunities in one of Europes fastest growing companies interest you If so then please read on! 

Role background 

Wolt is a Finnish technology company and were best known for our food delivery platform. Food delivery was just a start and now we are exploring and expanding our platform with other business verticals in retail and grocery. Weve grown significantly in the last few years expanding our operations from just four countries across the Nordics to 28 countries across Europe and Asia today. And were just getting started. 

As part of our expansion we are soon launching in Bulgaria and we are so excited about it! 

To achieve this we must first assemble the team of motivated sales superheroes wholl secure the relationships with restaurants and retailers that our customers in Bulgaria want to order from. That means your role as Sales Manager is to be the true hunter. 

Youll be tasked with building and managing your own pipeline of partners to approach and sign up to Wolt. This requires a good understanding of both the most appropriate merchants across various verticals to prioritize as well as strong communication and negotiation skills to get your targets through the sales funnel. 

As time progresses and more partners are onboarded the targets and duties of the role may develop. This means that you must thrive in the startup environment where constant change means theres always lots to get your teeth into! 

What youll be doing 

  • Identifying potential partnerships and contacting partners that are a great fit for Wolt. 
  • Systematically managing the pipeline of new potential partnerships.
  • Start relationships with the identified pipeline. 
  • Understanding venue performance in order to set profitable business terms and conducting negotiations regarding partnership terms. 
  • Creating a strong communications loop alongside the development team. Making sound business decisions by supporting intuition with data. 

Qualifications :

  • Your background should be focused on field sales or business development we want someone who can own the complete sales cycle from start to finish (what youve sold doesnt matter!) 
  • You are structured detailed and serviceoriented and have experience working with datadriven sales processes. 
  • A natural hunter with excellent communication and networking skills.
  • A real foodie with good knowledge of the local restaurant scene would be an advantage! 
  • Fluent level of Bulgarian and English.
