Job Description
Engineering and execution of DCS and PLC software application development for Energy from Waste (EfW) and Renewable Gas (RG) Plants:
- Configuration of Networking Devices (Managed Switches Routers DMZ Routers Firewalls)
- Initial setup and configuration of industrial PCs
- Factory Acceptance Testing and commissioning of DCS Hardware and Software including Safety Instrumented Systems both on site and remote
- Coaching and Training of entry level members other Automation Software Engineers and customers
- Reviewing technical specifications and RfQ documentation to ensure accuracy conformance with codes and client specifications
Qualifications :
- 3 years experience in DCS and PLC Software Application development (Siemens PCS7TIA Portal) preferably in power plant applications
- Good knowledge of IT and various bus communication protocols (Ethernet Profibus Profinet ModbusTCP IEC104 OPC)
- Ability to work under stress and proactiveness
- Commissioning and operational experience is an advantage
- Good knowledge of English language
