Are you a dedicated and experienced SENCO looking for your next role in a supportive and inclusive primary school We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable SENCO to join a fantastic school in Brent from April 2025. This role is available on a fulltime or parttime basis and offers a competitive salary (MPS/UPS SEN Allowance 2).
The Role
- Leading the schools SEND provision ensuring that all pupils receive the support they need to reach their full potential
- Managing and overseeing EHCPs interventions and support strategies for children with additional needs
- Working closely with teachers support staff parents and external agencies to create an inclusive learning environment
- Providing staff training and development on SEND best practices
- Ensuring compliance with SEND legislation and policies promoting a high standard of inclusive education
What We Are Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and the NASENCO qualification (essential)
- Proven experience working as a SENCO in a primary setting
- Strong knowledge of SEND legislation EHCP processes and intervention strategies
- Excellent leadership communication and organisational skills
- A commitment to fostering inclusive and highquality education for all pupils
