Senior Test Automation Engineer

Our team members work in cross functional teams in projects on different scales in various industries. Their main responsibility is to ensure exceptional software quality through utilizing the best practices in all phases of software development in order to ensuring functionality performance and reliability of applications. With deep knowledge of various types of applications databases and operating systems they maintain high standards of product excellence and user satisfaction. 

As a Senior Test Automation Engineer at Endava you will be in charge of building developing and implementing automated tests to assure the highest quality and confidence leading up to product release. 

Main responsibilities:

• Create and maintain test strategy and plan.
• Create and maintain automation testing frameworks from scratch covering UI API and DB testing.
• Ensure the functional and nonfunctional quality as part of the CI/CD pipelines.
• Work in cross functional agile team covering the testing trough the complete SDLC.
• Prepare test reports on sprint/release basis.
• Mentor and support less experience engineers.

Qualifications :

• 4 years of experience in automation testing.
• Good understanding of software development lifecycle phases and QA processes within it.
• Proficient in 1 or more programing languages (Java .Net JavaScript or other).
• Work experience with some of the most used test automation tools and frameworks
• Work experience with Jenkins Azure DevOps or similar CI tool.
• Work experience with bug tracking test management project management and version control systems.
• Experience with AWS Azure or GSP.
• Proficiency in understanding software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies (e.g. blackbox testing whitebox testing regression testing).
• Work experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Very good soft skills and English skills.
• Team player.
