At AbbVie as we advance our customer engagement model in our local organization we are looking for talent to join our Canadian affiliate to elevate and maximize affiliate performance through Infield and Brand excellence models and capabilities.

In this role you will be accountable for driving increased business performance within our infield and brand teams by ensuring the effective application of core methodologies the successful adoption of key capabilities and leveraging datadriven insights. The role also involves providing strategic guidance to leadership aligning Canadian needs with global roadmaps and offering strategic insight to drive best practices and tools across Business Units in line with AbbVies guidelines and materials. You will coach and develop direct and indirect team members to build engagement and proficiency. You will work with colleagues from Commercial Medical Market Access Patient Experience & Contract Management Customer Excellence and BTS to drive alignment and excellence.

The incumbent will be based in Montreal will lead 3 direct reports and will report into the Head ACE Transformation.

  • Accountable for localization planning implementation and successful adoption of relevant capabilities & core functional activities in Canada to drive increased business performance.
    • IFT Fundamentals
    • CRM & related IFT Tools
    • Sales Incentive Plan
    • Strategic planning and Execution frameworks
    • Launch Excellence
  • Challenge the business and uplift the quality of strategic planning execution and investment optimization with recommendations developed by leveraging.
    • Datadriven insights
    • Best practices from other affiliates
    • Feedback sourced through internal infield and brand communities
    • Fresh stimulus from external industry/nonindustry sources
  • Partner with Business Unit leadership other Customer Excellence teams BTS and Patient Experience and Contract Management to identify opportunities and assign/lead select initiatives to evolve infield and brand teams aligned with the digital transformation vision (roles competencies capabilities methods and analytics).
  • Partner with Medical Excellence and Market Access Excellence to maximize alignment and approach for common areas of focus within affiliate priorities.
  • Provide insight and guidance to leadership on strategic elements related to IFT and brand team excellence roadmap.
  • Liaise with global and local stakeholders to understand reflect and align Canadian needs into global and area capability roadmaps.
  • Provide direction and coaching to direct reports; building engagement and development.

Qualifications :

  • 35 years with pharmaceutical Field Sales management; building high performing teams.
  • 810 years relevant business experience (sales marketing and/or business development) with a proven track record within the biotech / pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience with orchestrated customer experience models & tools.
  • Demonstrated ability in strategic thinking and analytics to inform high quality decision making.
  • Lead influence and thrive in a highperforming matrix and fastpaced environment.
  • Ability to establish mutually productive positive and collaborative internal relationships.
  • Proven ability to work with multiple priorities and largescale programs.
  • Resourceful and creative must bring fresh insights to a dynamic business environment.
  • High quality standards with attention to detail.
  • Technically savvy / ability to adopt new technologies such as GenAI tools.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Loop. CoPilot Outlook PowerPoint Excel Word etc.).
  • Advanced French and English language proficiency (oral and written).
  • Bachelors degree in Commerce Science or Health Care.  Degree in a related or equivalent field may also be considered.

Assets:

  • Knowledge of AbbVie infield/brand management methodologies and Advance Customer Experience capabilities are assets.
