After successfully building our Restaurant and Retail Delivery businesses in 2023 we launched Wolt Drive a service that gives partners access to Wolts industryleading lastmile logistics platform. Companies can connect to the Wolt Drive network to offer ultrafast deliveries of goods and parcels directly through their apps or ecommerce platforms creating seamless experiences for their customers.
The Hungarian Wolt was founded in 2018 and now we are in more than 100 cities working with more than 6000 restaurant and retail partners around the country. Our mission is to make cities better by empowering and growing local communities. To do so we want to make the busy lives of our customers a bit easier offer local stores and restaurants additional sales and visibility and offer flexible earning opportunities for courier partners.
As a Business Development Manager you will act as a key communicator between our operations and retail partners in order to ensure the optimal success of Wolt Drive.
What youll be doing
Working with new potential partners for both B2B services and managing the sales process from A to Z. This includes researching leads prospecting conducting meetings and market visits negotiating terms and closing deals.
Systematically hunting and managing the pipeline of new potential partnerships while tailoring the approach to position Wolt as the partner of choice
Conducting negotiations on partnership terms and maintaining ownership of the relationship until the retail development team steps in. Ensuring an optimal product selection for each retailer on Wolts platform.
Account management
Actively contributing to local sales strategies to accelerate Wolts retail market entry.
Collaborating with local Operations Support and Sales teams on service processes while supporting marketing and acquisition activities.
Qualifications :
Demonstrable experience in a sales or account managementfocused role; comfortable with selling.
Excellent interpersonal skillsyou will be working with a variety of people.
Experience or strong interest in analytics with attention to detail.
Solutionoriented mindset.
Fluency in Hungarian and English
