Job Description

JOB OVERVIEW

Job Title: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Job Type: Locum Tenens

Location: Faribault & Owatonna MN (Float Pool)

Service Setting: Hospital

Coverage Type: Clinical Call

Coverage Period: Ongoing

Clinical Schedule: Monday Thursday (Elective cases) Friday (Emergent only e.g. Csections)

Shift Hours: 8 or 10hour shifts Call (required)

PATIENT INFORMATION

Patient Demographics: Adults & Pediatrics

Special Procedures: VBAC/TOLAC Blocks Epidurals

Required Skills: Pediatric & ENT Anesthesia

FACILITY INFORMATION

Facility Type: Float Pool (Two Facilities Faribault & Owatonna MN)

Supervision Model:

Faribault: Unsupervised strong CRNA needed (MDs available for assistance)

Owatonna: MD onsite supervised model

JOB REQUIREMENTS

License Required: Minnesota (Strongly Preferred)

Willing to License: Yes

Certifications: ACLS BLS
Strong OB experience

Minimum Experience: 1 year

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide anesthesia care for general and OB cases

Perform VBAC/TOLAC blocks and epidurals

Work independently in an unsupervised model at Faribault with MD assistance if needed

Work in a supervised model at Owatonna with MD onsite

Participate in rotating weekend call coverage
