The HSE Engineer shall be responsible for implementing managing and monitoring health safety environmental and security measures onsite to ensure compliance with Saudi Arabian and International safety and security standards. This role requires a highly skilled professional with a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in construction health and safety management on largescale power projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and enforce HSE policies procedures and standards to ensure compliance with project safety regulations.
Monitor and oversee site activities to identify potential hazards assess risks and implement control measures.
Conduct safety inspections audits and incident investigations to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Provide training and awareness programs to site personnel on safety procedures and best practices.
Coordinate with project management contractors and regulatory authorities to ensure adherence to Saudi Arabian and international safety standards.
Lead accident and incident investigations analyze root causes and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Prepare and submit reports on safety performance risk assessments and compliance status to senior management.
Oversee implementation of environmental protection measures to minimize project impact.
Ensure security measures are in place to protect site personnel equipment and infrastructure.
Maintain an updated record of safety incidents audits and compliance reports.
Conduct emergency drills and provide guidance on response strategies.
Utilize MS Office and MIS systems for safety data analysis documentation and reporting.
Qualifications :
Education: Qualified in Health Safety Loss Prevention Environmental and Security courses.
Certification: NEBOSH IGC (or equivalent) in a health and safety discipline.
Experience: Minimum ten (10) years of experience in construction health and safety management on projects of similar size and scope.
Industry Expertise: Strong background as a Safety Officer in large power projects.
Nationality Requirement: Must be a NonWestern national.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with Management Information Systems (MIS).
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic.
Leadership Abilities: Ability to lead and influence safety culture across teams and departments.
Regulatory Knowledge: Indepth understanding of Saudi Arabian and International safety and security standards.
Additional Information :

Strong problemsolving skills and ability to handle safetyrelated challenges efficiently.
Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and HSE compliance frameworks.
Ability to conduct safety training and mentor onsite personnel.
