Steward
A Steward is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen dishwashing areas and food service areas. This role ensures that kitchen & F&B have clean dishes utensils and equipment while adhering to food safety standards.
- Wash and sanitize dishes glassware utensils pots and pans.
- Keep kitchen workstations floors and food prep areas clean.
- Ensure garbage disposal and waste management are handled efficiently.
- Follow health safety and hygiene regulations.
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment ovens grills and storage areas.
- Ensure proper storage of kitchen tools and utensils.
- Report any damaged or malfunctioning kitchen equipment to the supervisor.
- Restock plates glassware and cutlery for chefs and servers.
- Assist in receiving and storing deliveries of kitchen supplies.
- Keep track of cleaning supplies and chemicals informing management of restocking needs.
Qualifications :
- Previous experience in stewarding (Minimum 23 years).
- Basic understanding of kitchen operations and hygiene standards.
- Physical stamina (standing for long hours lifting heavy kitchen equipment).
- Ability to work in a fastpaced highpressure environment.
- Strong teamwork communication and organizational skills.
