SEN Teacher Well Regarded Secondary School Redbridge
Role: SEN Teacher
Nature: FullTime Permanent
Start: April 2025
Salary: MPS/UPS SEN Allowance
A secondary school in Redbridge is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Teacher to join their team from April 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment supporting secondaryaged students with a variety of special educational needs including autism (ASC) speech and language difficulties and social emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs.
Role Highlights:
- Fulltime permanent position at a wellestablished secondary school in Redbridge
- Teach and support secondaryaged students with a range of SEN including ASC SEMH and more
- Plan develop and deliver differentiated lessons to meet the individual needs of students
- Collaborate with SENCOs teaching staff and support teams to create a holistic approach to learning
- Monitor and assess student progress adapting teaching methods to ensure student success
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes confidence independence and academic growth
Experience & Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching in a secondary school ideally with students with SEN
- Strong knowledge of SEN strategies including behaviour management and differentiation
- A patient empathetic and flexible approach to supporting students
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Enhanced DBS check required
