Job Description
A highly regarded primary school in Haringey is looking for a dedicated Year 1 teacher to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early years education and a drive to make a positive impact on young learners academic and social development.
Salary: MPS/UPS
Location: Haringey
Start date: April 2025

Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons that support the needs of Year 1 students
- Creating a stimulating classroom environment that fosters a love of learning
- Monitoring and assessing student progress ensuring that children are meeting key developmental milestones
- Maintaining strong communication with parents and carers to support student progress
Requirements:
- QTS
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 particularly Year 1 (desirable but not essential)
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff students and parents
- A caring and patient approach to teaching young children
