Are you a passionate and engaging Teacher of History with a desire to inspire students to explore the past and understand its relevance to the present We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our thriving History department in a secondary school in Richmond.

About the History Department:
The History department is a collaborative and supportive team with a shared passion for fostering students understanding of the past. We offer a rich and engaging curriculum that covers a wide range of historical events and movements.
About the Role:
- Teach History across Key Stages 3 and 4 potentially Key Stage 5.
- Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons.
- Utilize a range of teaching methods and resources including historical sources and primary documents.
- Assess student progress set targets and provide constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the departments curriculum development.
- Foster a love of History in students.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues.
- Participate in professional development opportunities.
Ideal Candidate:
- Holds QTS or equivalent.
- Possesses excellent subject knowledge in History.
- Demonstrates a passion for teaching History.
- Has strong communication interpersonal and classroom management skills.
- Is confident in building rapport with students and fostering a positive learning environment.
