Job Description

Are you a passionate and enthusiastic Music Teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity An independent school in Birmingham is seeking a dynamic Music Teacher to join their thriving department starting as soon as possible.

About the Music Department:The Music Department is wellestablished and provides a fantastic opportunity for a Music Teacher to inspire students. With a strong focus on creativity and individual expression the Music Department helps students excel in their studies. Teachers are encouraged to bring innovative approaches to Music teaching.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach Music to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 with Key Stage 5 as an option.
  • Curriculum planning and development.
  • Assessment and grading.
  • Pastoral care and form tutor responsibilities.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree in Music or a related subject.
  • PGCE or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching Music to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
  • Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Competitive salary on the MPS/UPS scale.
