A dynamic secondary school in Wandsworth is seeking a passionate and skilled Music Teacher to join its thriving Music department. This is a fulltime permanent position offering the chance to inspire students and contribute to a vibrant school community with a strong tradition in the performing arts. The successful Music Teacher will have excellent opportunities.
You Are:
- A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent).
- Experienced in teaching Music at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. (KS5 experience is desirable but not required).
- Proficient in at least one musical instrument and/or voice.
- An inspiring educator with a love of music.
- An excellent classroom practitioner.

You Will:The Music Teacher will undertake:
- Plan and deliver engaging Music lessons.
- Differentiate instruction for all learners.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback (written and practical).
- Maintain accurate records.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues.
- Contribute to extracurricular music (choirs bands orchestras etc.).
- Organize and prepare students for performances.
- Communicate with parents/guardians.
- Comply with safeguarding.
