Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated ICT Teacher to join our vibrant academic community in Telford. The ideal candidate will have a passion for information and communication technology a commitment to fostering a positive and engaging learning environment and a drive to help students achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and inspiring ICT lessons to students at KS3 KS4 and KS5.
- Develop and implement a curriculum that meets national standards and encourages students to develop practical skills in computing and technology.
- Assess and evaluate student progress through both formative and summative assessments.
- Provide constructive feedback to students helping them build confidence and enhance their skills in ICT.
- Create a positive inclusive and motivating classroom atmosphere that encourages active participation and independent learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices contribute to departmental goals and engage in professional development opportunities.
- Maintain open communication with parents and guardians keeping them informed of student progress and school events.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A degree in ICT Computer Science or a related field.
- A teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE QTS or equivalent).
- Proven experience teaching ICT at secondary school level (KS3 KS4 KS5).
- Strong knowledge of ICT theory programming languages and applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to engage with technology and digital learning.
