Job Description

Are you a passionate Psychology Teacher eager to inspire the next generation of critical thinkers We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher to join a vibrant school community in Dudley. This role offers the chance to engage students in the fascinating world of human behaviour with the opportunity to teach at both KS4 and KS5.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver dynamic and thoughtprovoking psychology lessons that engage students and encourage curiosity about the human mind.
  • Develop and implement a psychology curriculum that promotes critical thinking analysis and realworld applications.
  • Assess and monitor student progress through both formative and summative assessments providing feedback that supports individual growth.
  • Foster an inclusive and stimulating classroom atmosphere that motivates students to think independently and creatively.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators to share best practices and contribute to the departments continued success.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians keeping them informed of students progress and any schoolrelated events.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A degree in Psychology or a related field.
  • A teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE QTS or equivalent).
  • Prior experience teaching psychology at secondary school level (KS4 and KS5) is preferred.
  • Strong subject knowledge in psychology research methods and contemporary psychological issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and engage students.
  • A commitment to student success and a desire to create a positive impact.
