What Were Looking For:
We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a genuine passion for art and a commitment to providing highquality art education. The ideal candidate will be:
- A qualified teacher (holding QTS or equivalent).
- Experienced in teaching Art at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. Experience teaching Art at Key Stage 5 (ALevel Art BTEC Art and Design or similar) is desirable but not essential.
- Proficient in a range of art techniques and media such as drawing painting sculpture printmaking and digital art.
- Passionate about art and able to inspire students of all abilities.
- An excellent classroom practitioner with strong behaviour management skills.
- Committed to raising student achievement and fostering creativity critical thinking and visual literacy.
- A collaborative team player who is willing to contribute to the wider school community including extracurricular art activities.
- Dedicated to their own professional development.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan prepare and deliver engaging and challenging Art lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of all learners.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback both written and through practical critiques.
- Maintain accurate records of student attainment and progress.
- Create a positive inclusive and stimulating studio environment that promotes creativity experimentation and artistic development.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Art and Design department and across the school.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of extracurricular art activities such as art clubs workshops and exhibitions.
- Organize and prepare student artwork for displays and exhibitions.
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress.
- Comply with Health and Safety at all times.
