A fantastic opportunity has arisen in our hand therapy team based at Queen Alexandra hospital (QAH) in Portsmouth. We are seeking likeminded enthusiastic wellmotivated Physiotherapists or Occupational Therapists to join our friendly highly skilled and supportive team of professionals.
The post is based in the Rehabilitation Centre at QAH. You will be joining a team which provides treatment for patients with complex hand presentations from Orthopedics Plastics and Rheumatology services. You will be working in an outpatient setting and gain experience in working in a clinic environment alongside specialist consultants surgeons and nurses.
As a Band 6 you will have the opportunity to support the Band 7s in service and team development and to develop your leadership and management skills. You will also have access to structured supervision regular inservice training and the opportunity to participate audit service development and attend local hand specialist network meetings and study days.
We may consider a development role for the right candidate with less experience.
We would be happy to consider flexible working/part time hours and this can be discussed as part of the interview process.
