Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled Experienced Staff Nurse to join our Nursing Team who will contribute to delivering high standards of care to our residents in Co Meath.

Job Types: Fulltime Permanent
Schedule:12 hour shift
Responsibilities
- To support the Nurse Manager & Deputy Nurse Manager in their roles and to deputize for them in their absence. Ensure that all instructions are followed in the best interest of the resident by understanding her role and responsibilities.
- By promoting high standards of professional practice a caring environment conducive to residents physical emotional social and spiritual needs is fostered.
- To promote the ethos of personcentered care.
- We are committed to ensuring that everything we do reflects the privacy dignity and respect of our residents and underpins all the basic values that contribute to an excellent standard of living.
- All residents receive care that is appropriate to their needs.
- Led the home staff to improve standards and maintain high morale.
- Lead and educate all staff members in the home in the residents best interest.
Requirements
- Candidates should have live NMBI registration.
- Minimum 3 years postqualification experience
- A postregistration management degree in medicine or a closely connected discipline
- Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Has the clinical administrative and leadership skills necessary to carry out the roles responsibilities.
- Candidate should be eligible to work in Ireland.
- Management Experience would be a bonus.
- Management Coures QQI Level 6 is really desirable.
- The position is subject to Garda Vetting and good references.
