Job Description:
The Receptionist will be the face of our school providing a warm and professional first impression to all visitors parents students and staff. This role involves managing the front desk handling inquiries and performing administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations of the school s daily activities.
Responsibilities:
- Front Desk Management:
- Greet and assist all visitors parents and students in a courteous and professional manner.
- Communication Handling:
- Answer and direct incoming calls emails and messages efficiently.
- Visitor Coordination:
- Maintain the visitor log issue visitor passes and guide them to their respective destinations.
- Administrative Support:
- Assist in administrative tasks such as filing data entry and handling correspondence.
- Scheduling:
- Manage appointment schedules for meetings with school staff and administration.
- Security Protocols:
- Ensure that security procedures are followed including monitoring entry and exit of visitors.
- Student Assistance:
- Provide students with assistance in navigating the school retrieving messages and contacting parents when needed.
- Event Coordination:
- Support in organizing and coordinating school events and meetings.
- Office Supplies Management:
- Monitor and order office supplies to ensure the front desk is adequately stocked.
Qualifications:
- Educational Requirements:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in Office Management or Secretarial Studies are a plus.
- Experience:
- 13 years of experience in a similar role preferably within an educational institution.
- Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word Excel PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
