Job Description
We are currently seeking Production Workers to become part of the Ulbrich Precision Alloys team located in New Bedford MA. Ulbrich Precision Alloys is a global producer of highperformance materials and solutions for a variety of markets. Successful Production Workers ensure that production requirements and standards are met consistently and are able to identify opportunities to enhance production efficiencies without compromising quality.
As a Production Worker you must be willing to work multiple shifts weekends and overtime in our heavy industrial environment.
Essential Functions:
- Operate both small and large mobile equipment
- Operate cranes using a remote radio control box or in an overhead cab
- Work with a team in the various facilities to produce world class coil products. Some tasks require routine interaction with computer interfaces.
- Assist and support routine maintenance activities
Qualifications :
- High School Diploma or Equivalent VoTech Certificate or associate degree in electrical mechanical or other related curriculum
- 1 year of experience in the manufacturing industry with transferrable skills.
- Basic reading math and measurement comprehension. Ability to read instructions do basic math and perform simple measurements is critical.
- Reading math & problemsolving skills with electrical or mechanical aptitude.
- Ability and willingness to operate and/or maintain a variety of operating units
- Work shifts weekends and overtime in an industrial environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work safely as a team member.
