Job Description
CD PROJEKT RED is looking for a Senior Gameplay Programmer to join our team to work on Project Orion the followup to Cyberpunk 2077 and the next major video game in the Cyberpunk franchise.
In this role you will collaborate with our team working in Unreal Engine 5 to build new mechanics and features to generate compelling gameplay. Youll be in charge of defining building and maintaining the core system of character ability management.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Work closely with designers and animators to fulfill the vision of the game.
- Build and maintain solid and flexible gameplay systems that work in both singleplayer and multiplayer.
- Write highquality code that is optimized bugfree and aligned with project goals.
Qualifications :
- At least 10 years of professional experience as a programmer within the games industry.
- Strong proficiency in C programming and knowledge of Unreal Engine.
- Ability to think creatively and strategically to overcome technical challenges and drive innovation in technology.
- Strong multiplayer experience.
- Knowledge of game engine architecture and algorithms.
- Strong multithreaded programming skills.
- Excellent communication skills: We have a multilingual and multicultural working environment and the ability to communicate across language and time zone barriers is essential.
- A passion for games.
Nice to have:

- Shipped at least one Unrealbased project for Xbox PlayStation consoles.
- Experience using GAS.
Additional Information :
This job can be hybrid/inoffice from Boston or fully remote from anywhere in USA or Canada.
