Job Description
Our client a leading Automotive supplier in Hamilton Ontario is currently looking for a fulltime permanent Maintenance Electrician with solid experience in Automotive and manufacturing sector.
Job: Maintenance Electrician
Pay: $38 42/hr. Benefits.
Location: Hamilton Ontario
Responsibilities:
- Repair all electrical components of machines including PLCs changing motors sensors etc.
- Read electrical blueprints while trouble shooting repairing or installing electrical equipment.
- Provide electrical building maintenance including changing electrical plugs ballasts etc.
- Conduct new installations i.e. electrical services
- Conduct electrical preventative maintenance
- Work with electrical contractors as required.
- Diagnostic trouble shooting of electrical breakdowns
- Operate forklift / scissor lift as required
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as a Maintenance Electrician in Manufacturing Industry.
- Must be a Licensed Electrician (442A) and (309A) have knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code.
- Must have working knowledge of Allen Bradley / Siemens PLC
- Strong controls background
- Can work up to 600 VAC
