Job Description

Our client a leading Automotive supplier in Hamilton Ontario is currently looking for a fulltime permanent Maintenance Electrician with solid experience in Automotive and manufacturing sector.

Job: Maintenance Electrician

Pay: $38 42/hr. Benefits.

Location: Hamilton Ontario

Responsibilities:

  • Repair all electrical components of machines including PLCs changing motors sensors etc.
  • Read electrical blueprints while trouble shooting repairing or installing electrical equipment.
  • Provide electrical building maintenance including changing electrical plugs ballasts etc.
  • Conduct new installations i.e. electrical services
  • Conduct electrical preventative maintenance
  • Work with electrical contractors as required.
  • Diagnostic trouble shooting of electrical breakdowns
  • Operate forklift / scissor lift as required

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience working as a Maintenance Electrician in Manufacturing Industry.
  • Must be a Licensed Electrician (442A) and (309A) have knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code.
  • Must have working knowledge of Allen Bradley / Siemens PLC
  • Strong controls background
  • Can work up to 600 VAC
