Job Description
As an Esthetician you will ensure each guest will receive the professional and personalized spa experience you perform. The expertise and attention to detail you provide for each treatment will turn moments into memories for our guests.
What you will be doing:
- Perform facials on guests using safe and professional techniques
- Perform bodywaxing services in a safe comfortable and hygienic manner
- Maintain an ample inventory of all products necessary to perform all facials and waxing services including skin care products cotton distilled water warm wax waxing sticks bowls towels sheets blankets plastic bags and face cloths. Prepare kits as required.
- Assist in the coordination of aesthetic services with other spa programs
- Ensure current trends in aesthetic industry are reviewed
- Ensure that overall cleanliness and maintenance of our spa exceeds expectations
- Report malfunctioning equipment to the Leadership Team
- Assist in any and all ways in the beauty salon when not scheduled to perform services. This assistance is to include acting as salon receptionist selling and restocking professional retail skin care and hair products.
- Constantly maintain uptodate knowledge of the personal services performed and any revisions in the skin care products or procedures used
- Serve as catalyst to promote spa services to Guests and Colleagues
- Maintain current professional licenses and certifications
- Work with Lead Esthetician in the formulation of plans for projects
- Answer all questions related to menu items services performed and products used
- Assist guest regarding menu items in an informative and helpful way
- Organize time so all side work is completed according to shift demand
- Maintain atmosphere of aloha spirit by providing engaging personalized timely and efficient service to our discerning guests
- Focus attention on guest needs remaining calm and courteous at all times
Qualifications :
Your Skills and Qualifications include:
Education
- Graduate from an accredited school of esthetics required
Experience
- Two years previous experience as an esthetician required
Licenses or Certificates
- TB Clearance
- State of Hawaii Beauty Operator (BEO) License
- CPR/First Aid
Additional Information :
All Candidates must be in possession of identification proving authorization to work in the United States as defined in the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 (IRCA).
